The Madison Brown and J. Walter & Elizabeth Juckett Awards

VCC's long-time partner—the Lake Champlain Cancer Research Organization (LCCRO)—generously makes funding available for cancer research and academic awards to UVM faculty in several categories. The Madison Brown and J. Walter & Elizabeth Juckett Awards is one such award category.

These awards of $75,000-100,000 yearly for three to five years are given to investigators who have a demonstrable record of sustained productivity in cancer research. The funds are renewable, may be carried forward, and may support faculty salary. Priority will be given to clinician scientists. This is a non-competitive award; recipients are chosen by the VCC senior leadership and approved by the LCCRO Board.
