What is a Planned Gift?

Planned gifts are charitable gifts designed so that you as the donor can realize your philanthropic objectives while taking full advantage of federal income, estate, and gift tax laws.

Types of planned gifts include:

• Retirement plan assets
• Securities
• Real estate and other appreciated assets
• Life insurance
• Provisions in wills or revocable trusts
• Endowments
